Lotsie Hermann Holton
A pilot, Lotsie has flown a MIG in Moscow 80,000 ‘ at MACH 2 (see it on YouTube) and an ultra light plane across Victoria Falls. She has summated Mt. Kilimanjaro, hiked to Everest base camp (1999), trekked to the orangutans in Borneo and to the Lowland Gorillas in Gabon. Sailing is a passion so she sailed the Komodo Islands in search of The Komoto Dragon. Her favorite dive was The Turks & Caicos wall dive to 100’ to see the migration of humpback whales. A world traveler, along with her husband, Rick, they went to Papua New Guinea to see the Birds of Paradise, Bhutan to float the Mo and Pho Rivers (2017) and they fished for piranha on the Amazon River in 2022. Recently she visited Mongolia (2023) Gobi Desert on a camel and rode horses in Altai Mountains with Golden Eagle Festival Hunters. Chairman of St. Louis chapter of The Explorers Club, 2002-2005, she remains on the advisory board. She has served on many boards including American Rivers in Washington DC, and locally the St. Louis Zoo Friends, Trailnet, Forest Park Forever, Muny, and Garden Club.
